DISCOVER YOUR ARTISTRY. ELEVATE YOUR TECHNIQUE
We are thrilled to call Bushel & Peck our home! Our youth dance program is currently structured as independent sessions throughout the school year. We offer creative movement for students ages 3-5 years old and modern dance for students ages 6 to adults!
Ms. Natalia is the proud owner and director of the program. With over 10 years of experience in teaching dancers of all levels and ages, she has been able to craft a unique and comprehensive dance curriculum that introduces children to their rich and infinite capacity for movement, storytelling and artistry!
WHETHER YOU ARE AN EXPERIENCED DANCER LOOKING TO REFINE YOUR TECHNICAL SKILLS OR CURIOUS TO EXPERIENCE DANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME, WE HAVE A CLASS FOR YOU!
Physical language is at the core of our learning experience. We learn about the world as we move in it and with it, therefore physical language shapes and informs the way in which we understand our surroundings and ourselves.
As a crystallization of physical language, dance can provide unparalleld benefits that can enrich an individual's intellectual, artistic and social skills. Studying dance stimulates creative expression, encourages team exploration and cooperation, and provides self-confidence, while also improving coordination and flexibility.
CLASS LEVEL AND PLACEMENT IS MEANT TO PROVIDE THE BEST ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH THE STUDENTS WILL THRIVE, AND IT IS NOT BASED SOLELY ON THE STUDENT’S AGE.
PRIMARY LEVEL (AGES 6-8)
LEVEL I - BEGINNER
LEVEL II - INTERMEDIATE
LEVEL III - ADVANCED

DECLINED PAYMENT/LATE FEES
All families must keep a valid, active credit or debit card on file in their student portal. Our expectations at Shifting Momentum are centered around mutual respect, discipline, focus, and maintaining a safe, clean physical environment for all students and teachers.
PUNCTUALITY: Arrive 5 to 10 minutes before class to change, use the restroom, and mentally prepare. Late arrivals should wait quietly at the door and wait for the instructor's permission to enter.
ATTIRE & GROOMING: Wear the required dress code, including hair secured neatly.
LOBBY/WAITING AREA: Please wait quietly in the lobby area! Classes are still happening and it is very distracting to the dancers. Also, please refrain from playing with the boomwhackers and entrance spots.
FOCUS & ATTENTION: "WE LISTEN WITH OUR EYES & WE TALK WITH OUR BODIES". This is the most important dance rule! Absolutely no talking while Ms. Natalia or any instructor is talking or demonstrating movement material or while our friends are dancing. Do not coach or correct other students unless explicitly asked by the teacher. Trust that your teacher comes prepared for class, with material that is appropriate for each level so that every student is challenged in a safe and encouraging way!
STUDENTS THAT CONSISTENTLY DISRUPT CLASS WILL BE ASKED TO SIT OUT AND OBSERVE CLASS!
NOT AT THE MOMENT. As a developing program, there are currently no classes available for make up.
